Welcome! Here you will find our information on how to fast. If you’re a returning customer, you can log into your account here!
We encourage you to use the healthiest bread made with non-GMO wheat and other grains.
1. Start a conversation with the Father. Be completely honest about how you’re feeling. Tell God your fears, worries, excitement and joy about the Fast Day. For example:
“Father, I want to fast, but my flesh is weak. I know I’ll be tempted to have coffee in the afternoon when my co-worker offers to get one for me. Help me, teach me, guide me to overcome this temptation.”
“Father, today I cannot wait to fast! Although I’m nervous there will be challenges that I won’t have the strength for. Father, be my strength. Grant me the grace to remain joyful in my fast.”
2. Identify who you’re praying for, what you’re praying for and any other intentions. Call on the Holy Spirit to fill your heart and mind with intentions. What’s heavy on your heart? What needs healing? Who would you pray for if you knew it was your last time praying for them? For example:
“Today, I’m fasting and praying for my family, for them to come back to the church. For my cousin’s marriage that’s experiencing difficulty. For a deeper prayer life. For forgiveness between me and my mother. For all those who I ought to pray for and all those who pray for me.”
“Father, I want to fast for Your intentions for me and my family. You know me better than I know myself. I place everything in Your hands and I fast today for the grace to let Your will be done in my life.”
